Whether you’re a hobbyist, a seasoned photographer, or just someone who wants epic shots from their trip, I’ll take you to the island’s most breathtaking (and lesser-known) locations — from golden sunrises to dramatic sunsets.
Overview
The exact itinerary depends on the direction we choose — either toward the east or west of the island — each offering a different atmosphere and set of landscapes. Since this is a private tour, the day is fully flexible. We can adjust the route and schedule as we go, based on your preferences, the light, and the weather conditions.
While Madeira may seem small, its terrain is diverse and many of the top photography spots are spread out across different regions. To make the most of your time, you’re welcome to share your interests in advance — whether you’re drawn to waterfalls, mountain peaks, dramatic cliffs, or coastal villages.
Sample Itinerary for a Full-Day Tour
• Early pickup from your accommodation (before sunrise)
• Arrival at the first location in time for sunrise
• Morning session exploring several unique photography spots
• Midday break for lunch and optional review of the morning’s photos
• Afternoon visits to a variety of carefully chosen locations
• Final stop at a top location for sunset shooting
• Return after dark
Throughout the day, I’ll be offering suggestions and adjusting the pace to keep the experience exciting yet relaxed. If time and conditions allow, we can fit in even more locations — but I always aim to cover at least ten carefully selected spots to give you a truly rich and rewarding day of photography.
